Choosing Your Long Beach Realtor

You have prepared yourself and your Long Beach Home for sale now it is time to find your Realtor. You find yourself with some interesting but confusing choices.

  • Neighborhood Realtor  - Has been sending you postcards and flyer's for years, knows the area, has a proven track record in your area.  This is a real option.  Has this Realtor kept up with the quickly changing market?  Do they have the ability to market your property on the internet effectively?  The market has changed so quickly an in depth interview would be necessary here to make certain that they have kept up, have the tools in place, and can properly represent your home in today's market.
  • Agent Friend - Many people do not like to mix business and friendship and do not want to run the risk of harming a valuable and cherished relationship.  Agent may or may not know the area very well.  Not usually the best choice, but one that is often made because it is too difficult to say no to a friend.  Usually a mistake.
  • Agent Relative - Friends and relatives are held to a higher standard.  Often either the standard is too high or the experience too low, this scenario rarely works out well. The relative is not usually an area expert, often does not have the right tools in place, and is operating in the dark.  A dangerous proposition in todays market where precision is needed.
  • Listing & Internet Marketing Specialist - This Realtor has their finger on the pulse of today's market.  They have the tools in place to market your Long Beach Property quickly and effectively.  Internet marketing is an art when performed properly.  The top of Google is a very small place.  With only 10 spaces available on page one and another 10 on page 2, how many Realtors canREALLYget there? DoYOUever look beyond page one or two of Google? Does anybody?

Where do you think your buyer is on the demographic chart below?

Placing your property at the top of the search engines is only a small part of what a Listing & Internet Marketing Specialist can do to make your property visible to todays buyers.  Call Laurie today for further information or an in depth consultation, 562-212-5420.
