The Memorial Day 2008 Super MemeThe Memorial Day 2008 Super Meme
Mary McKnight of RSSpieces thought it would be funny to Meme me. A meme is a sort of internet chain letter, yeah I know we all hate chain letters, I’m no exception. A meme lets other people know details about you that you might not otherwise disclose on your blog. This particular meme revolves around the number 8. There are 8 questions and I have to annoy 8 other bloggers to do this as well. The number 8 is the infinity symbol, 8 is Mary’s favorite number and it is 2008.
So without further ado:
1. Who is your favorite musical artist? (post a youtube video) Oh great! How am I supposed to pick a favoite artist? There are so many! From which era of my life? For which one of my moods? Good grief!
Ok, I grew up in New York and when I was a kid I would travel with my Grandmother during the summers. One of our many trips took us to California. I was 14 and I knew I arrived at my future home the minute my foot hit the tarmac and I breathed in the California air. My hat is off to the Mama’s and the Papa’s for this one:
2. Who is your favorite artist (post a flicker photo) Wyland, a Laguna Beach Artist famous for his dolphin and whale paintings. He has painted walls and buidings all over the world. Unfortunately his paintings are very much copyrighted and are not available to post here.
3. Who is your favorite blogger?
Oh Great! Another tuffie! Do I even have a favorite blogger? Thinking, thinking thinking…… Nope, don’t have a favorite. Yes that is possible! There are just too many good ones out there.
Lee Iacocca, a personal favorite of mine. I have always wished he would run for president so I could stop wishing for a none of the above category. 5. What did you want to be when you grew up? When I was very young I wanted to be a race car driver. They forgot to tell me that little girls weren’t supposed to dream about that, lol. I have always wanted to sell real estate believe it or not. 6. What is the most interesting piece of trivia you know? Wow! There is so much interesting trivia out there to pick from. I guess a couple of my favorites are:
7. If you could live in any point in history what would it be and why? History sucked for women, why would I want to live in it? I want to live in the present and do something about creating a better future for our world. 8. What is the most interesting job you have ever held? I worked for 11 years in the Music and Entertainment businesss, with most of the big names and top executives. Ha, I know an awful lot that the rest of you don’t and I’m not talking!
Now for the fun part, I get to tag 8 more unsuspecting bloggers.

Comment from: Real Estate Agent Blogs [Visitor] Wow, lots of really interesting stuff there. Got to say- Lee Iococca is one of my favorites too! Anyone that had that much confidence in his own ability to turn a crippled business around and stand in front of a product to guarantee it when the general public felt it was crap has my vote! Wyland's gallery in Laguna is very cool.
Comment from: Ann Cummings [Visitor] I love learning all this cool stuff about people I already knew a little about - I would have bet my last dollar your response to the music question would have been answered just as you did! We have a Wyland wall here in Portsmouth - he painted it several years ago, and we've been in one of his galleries in Orlando and Hawaii - very cool. You and Mariana were thinking alike yesterday - you both tagged me!
